Join the Movement

This movement is about a lot more than fracking.

Our planet and ecosystems are under extreme pressure from the impacts of human civilization and our reliance on fossil fuels. We must dramatically shift our society or we will see even worse enviromental impacts. We are already on course for 2 DEGREES of warming which will be absolutely catastrophic. Any fossil fuels we continue to extract or consume is going to have certain harmful impacts on CURRENT and future generations.

Join a part of the CLIMATE JUSTICE movement in one or more of the many, many ways listed below. Meanwhile, you can support our work spreading this film and the movement by donating to the film and subscribing to our email or social channels.

General Overview

Change happens at every level. Inner change is equally important to social change. Self care and well-being is as paramount as reducing our environmental harms.

Social Change

Ending fossil fuel dependency is necessary. Our society has been built around fossil fuels so it will take a societal-size solution, which is only possible with the help of the government. The government has always funded and subsidized industry, especially the fossil fuel industry. These industries have therefore become very powerful and heavily influential on politicians. We are stuck in a cycle of the rich and powerful exploiting the poor and vulnerable. To break out of that cycle, a massive social movement is necessary to re-shift the balance of power back to the people and reduce our toxic impacts on the planet.

There are many organizations and individuals working to achieve this task. This website is a hub of links to ways you can get involved in a group that best fits your location, interests, talents, and goals. If you would like to add a resource to this page, there is a button below.

Inner Change

Our civilization and planet are in trouble because of the way we have learned to live, extracting and exploiting from the planet, each other, and ourselves. Our competitive society has made us believe that the most important thing is “getting ahead” instead of living in balance. This comes at a great cost to our society, planet, selves. Equally as important as social and systems change is improving our personal relationships with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.

Although this page is mostly focused on social organizations, this is a short list of highly recommended resources you can explore to shift your personal landscape for the sake of your well-being and all living beings.
