Director, Brian Hedden
Brian became an activist and filmmaker at age 11 when he made his first environmental PSA. After earning a BFA in Film at NYU, he founded a production company in San Diego serving sustainable businesses and nonprofits. Now in Boulder, Colorado, he’s the head of Earth Dog Films where he tells stories that nurture future generations.
Creative Producer, Doug Blush
An award-winning director, producer, editor, cinematographer and co-owner of LA’s MadPix Films, Doug’s credits include, as editor, Oscar and ACE Eddie Award winning 20 Feet from Stardom (2013), as executive producer, Oscar winning Period. End of Sentence. (2018) and, as consulting producer and editor, the Oscar winning Icarus (2017).
Producer, Jessica Daugherty
Jessica is a director and producer of documentary film and co-founder of Shrine13 in Portland, Oregon. She is a board member of the Documentary Producer’s Alliance, and an alumni of Rotterdam Lab 2022 and IEFTA. In 2018 she won Best Producer at DOCLA for the feature Thank You for Supporting the Arts. She produced the short La Tienda (2020) currently featured in The Latino Experience nationally on PBS.
Consulting Editor, Tony Hale
Tony is an Emmy-winning documentary editor in Brooklyn, NY. He co-directed and animated his first feature, A Will for the Woods (2013), which won nine awards and aired nationally on PBS. Tony won the national Emmy for Outstanding Documentary Writing on The Story of Plastic (Discovery), and the Jackson Wild Media award for editing on YOUTH v GOV (Netflix). Tony was included in DOC NYC’s 40 under 40 in 2022.
